I'm a photography lover! I love photography, take photos, carrying my camera around and take 'stupid' photos. But I hate to edit them, most of my 'hate' is because I'm not very good in it, so whenever I have a chance I learn a little bit more about photo edition...
Yes I love to learn and study... and learn about people too. I guess thats why I love to travel so much!
Well today, will present you Alex, a twenty something years old girl, passionate about photography, marketing and short life stories (not my words I guarantee). She loves to talk to strangers, listen to them and she also tell in her blog nine out of ten times she asked strangers to tell her, life short stories.
I may say, its not my thing to talk to strangers but its my thing to discover life stories (normally biographies)...
We can mix all this in this mixing bowl with Photoshop and photo edition and we get Alex website, where she speaks about all of this 'elements'. Its really interessing.
And she also present us with a few photo edit and Photoshop tutorial.
I leave you with a 'short story' of her photos.
Enjoy it and see more here: http://www.alexbeadonphotography.com/blog/first-time/

Food, food and more food! I never get tired of reading about food and recipes. Its a wonderful way to get inspiration to cook everyday and be inspirational for unique recipes like for example, curry noodles with dry tomato, broccoli and grilled mushrooms with arugula salad. Simple, cheap and easy to do.
Personally I never have time to take a calm and good breakfast. No! I don't have time, I get up, get dressed and eat in around 30 minutes than I leave to work. And during this time, I have little space to prepare a good breakfast and to take it with time and get a calm and peaceful breakfast time, right in the morning. I don't have time to do that. Beside that, in the morning the only thing I can eat is a big cup of chocolate milk. After that, I only eat for one hour later... In the morning my organism is very peculiar!
However, I envy those who can and take their breakfast in a calm and peaceful pace. Those how have time to prepare tasty food and eat it!

To those who doesn't know, I'm a volunteer in an animal shelter in Sesimbra, and every sunday - no matter what happen - I'm there, from 8 in the morning until the end of the day.
Yes every sunday I get home really tired, but its also very good to know that I'm helping animals, to know that I'm actively helping them to be more social, get a better quality of life, etc...
And beside all that good stuff, I also get the chance to practice my photography skills. Nevertheless, I also love to photograph animals...
Photographing animals its hard. Animals don't quite know how to be still, don't obey to orders or directions and only do what they want. Its an excellent practice for me really, at least I try to capture the best angle, position, the right mood of the animal. I try to show people how really the animals are. And sometimes, well lets be honest, most of the times, its complicated because, they are living in extraordinary conditions, in a kennel or chained. Admite, that from 50 pictures I shoot each animal per day, normally I only get 1 or 2 good photos. Its complicated but in the end, satisfactory.
During shoots, I take unusual positions... normally I realize that I'm with head down, feets up, my camera is near the floor, I hold my camer with only one hand because the other hand is protecting from the dog...
Well you might see it in my pictures. I made a small selection from february photo shoots.
My intent was to show the best of each animals, some of them are ill, mistreated be ex-owners, with social problems but most of them are needy, because its hard to get exclusive attention when you are competing with over 250 other dogs.
