Today I have returned with a recipe!
Long time no see hum... I don't really have much time to take pictures while I'm cooking, so the recipe posts are always hard to keep up...

So today its not really a recipe, in the sense of cooking the meal but a tip so you may have great meals.
I like to prepare my own hamburgers, I buy the chopped meat and I make them at home with 'Hamburger Press Set' from Tupperware. Specially because I like to give them a twist...
I use spices, garlic and other things like onion, mushrooms or cheese... You have unlimited options if you use your imagination!
For today is Onion and Cheese Hamburger.

Start to mix the spices and very tin garlic in the chopped meat. Mix all very well!
Than open a small hole on it and put a hand full of dry onion and mix all very well again.


Split the meat in equal portions, so each portion will be one hamburger.
Take one single portion and slip it again in half. Make them a bit flat than on top of one put the mix of cheese.


Tip: Continente (supermarket) has this little bag of mix of cheese, perfect to grill or just to use like I did!

Than put the other half on the top of the cheese and everything goes to the tupperware press kit.
And voilá! You have done one hamburguer!!




Repeat all these steps for the rest of the meat and all done.
I can guarantee you, if the meat used is good, your burger will be most tasty and so much better than those ready-made bought in the supermarket. And you will never will go back to those.

I find it so hard to write this down... Zen, the dog I had in my house as temporary family, died last friday...
I have this idea I publish very little pictures of him, but we only had 2 months together!
However, since he arrived at the shelter, he was my dog!

He was a very special dog, not very given to new people, didn't like to be touched in his head and people tended to pet is head, so he ran off...
But he was an amazing dog!

Since he died, I still think he is around, because Sunny is the same colour and size as Zen and sometimes on the corner of my eye, I think is Zen...
Everything started with a small coffin! Than he was diagnosed with a nodule in his lungs, meanwhile instead of one there was 3 nodules. After all he also had, a heart tumour...
From that moment we discover the tumour, it was down so fast... He went to a happy and active dog to a sad dog who gave up eating, than drinking... The nights were so awful, he spent the nights crying obviously in pain. Until he gave up completely, when I was not ready to give up!
I had plans, plans to go to the beach with him, to spend more time with him, go get mad at him because he had eaten my dinner, basically to give him the life he never had! We had only 2 months...
I only regret not to take him into my house before, and now when I look back to all those reasons I gave to not do it, seams so little...
Zen was an amazing dog! And I will miss him so much...

ps - The sunny was a great help with the sewing machine...

Personally I love plants and flours, however I have cats and I didn't know but some plants are not good to have around in your house if you have cats, because they can be poison for cats. And because of that I choose to have only artificial plants in my house...
On the other day, I was having a quick reading of an old magazine from 2014 (!) and came across with a small post about FIU - Jardins Suspensos. Obviously when I arrived home, I had to look for it on the web!

FIU - Jardins Suspensos was created by 2 portuguese landscape architects which loves to work with plants. well, they are landscape architects so they must love to work with plants right?
Ana Miguel and Rui Salgado, started this idea on late 2012 and on 2013 FIU was on full speed cruise. They used the Japanese technique named Kokedama, which consist in involving the roots of the plant in moss than tidy it up with strings so they can be hanged.
This technique allow the plant to be less watered, beside it allows the floor free to other stuff, as the plant is literally in the ceiling.
On my case, I found this amazing because my cats would not be able to reach the plant easily...
