Lately I'm feeling down...
I'm at that time of the month, I don't really feel complete in my job at this moment, the last class of my course was about some issues related of animal welfare and we talked about putting down to sleep animals on which cases that need to be done and on top of that, my neighbor have been making noise at midnight when I'm trying to sleep so I had to report him to our administration and that made me feel awful. But that had to be done!
All this made me feel bad about myself and I hate it. I hate feeling like this... I'm not that kind of person who feel sorrow for herself or complains about everything. I like to be joyful. I want to be myself again...
I seriously need some vacation, a real get away from my normal life... meanwhile I will dream about something like this!

The death of someone that I know is always something shocking, when is of someone younger than me, shocks me ever more, but if is suicide, the feeling is even worst!
Last saturday, I found out a guy I knew commit suicide!
Even though he was not one of my closets friends, I had contact with him and I always thought he was a very cheerful guy.
I can not imagine what his family is feeling... his wife, the mother, father or his brother!
I can not imagine what he was thinking or feeling in order to do such thing.
I can not imagine what had happened to make him think this was the only solution possible... the idea of don't want to live anymore is so strange and confusing!
I met Diogo when I was at Domus to be tattooed by a friend of mine. He was there, on another room tattooing and he was just a kid.
Years later I returned to Domus and I got tattooed by Diogo himself. All the three times I went there, he shown to be a very kind, nice and lovely guy!
When I found out about this tragedy I was in shock... I thought it was impossible...
I know he will be remembered and cherish by many. He had a tremendous gift!
This tattoo was made by him and here is unfinished.

I bought my machine a long time ago but I never really got time to use it.
I bought it from Showroomprive and didn't had any recipe book or instruction booklet, and this was one of the main issue than made me not very secure about this machine.
So I put it aside and from time to time, I looked at it and thought I need to use it at least once!
I started to search recipes and because I love fresh cream, I decide that would be my first one.
Some days before I put the cub in the freezer.
I bought it from Showroomprive and didn't had any recipe book or instruction booklet, and this was one of the main issue than made me not very secure about this machine.
So I put it aside and from time to time, I looked at it and thought I need to use it at least once!
I started to search recipes and because I love fresh cream, I decide that would be my first one.
Some days before I put the cub in the freezer.
Ingredients:
- 200gr of fresh cream;
- 200gr of fresh cream;
- 150gr of sugar;
- 2dl of milk.
Start to mix everything in a pan and let it boiled a little. Once in a while stir and do not let it boiled to long.
After that, put inside the ice-cream machine (once again, the cub should be very cold) and let the machine stir for 5 minutes.

After that, take the cub from the machine and leave it in the freezer for 2 hours.
Than, start the machine for another 30-45 minutes.
And this is the result!
It was amazing, so creamy and tasty. And this quantities were enough to (almost) fill one box of supermarket ice-cream.
By the way, try this ice-cream with strawberry jelly, all together. Delicious!
ps. while I was searching for ice-cream recipes and how I should use my machine, I found several arguments about not buying the ice-cream machine because this machine (or any ice-cream machine) is just used to mix. And now that I have used my machine, yes is true, everything needs to be made by ourselves and the machine just mix and make it cold, so I should say to you, you may use this recipe and not use any machine and mix everything by yourself. However I would advice you to keep the ice-cream in the freezer more than 2 hours, and once in a while, mix it very well.
Time: 3hours (total)
Easy: very
Cost: low (less than 5 euros)

I didn't had the time to finish my post about my recent trip to Athens and I already another trip. I went to UK and got back in 24 hours.
This time I was lucky to travel in the end of the day and I got a seat right on the side of sunset next to the window. And it was amazing! Love those beautiful colours and soft and warm sunlight on my face. I even got the chance to see the aircraft crossing the clouds. I have a video of that moment, hope I manage to post it here soon.
Because on this trip my schedule was so tight I only had a couple of hours in Windsor, but it was enough to eat a delicious slice of cake, bought a fridge magnetic and walked around the centre of Windsor. The weather was cloudy and even rained a bit.
By the way, did you know all swans belongs to Her Majesty the Queen? For real! And Windsor have thousands of it.
On my way back, I got - again - a seat next to the window but on the other side of the sunset. It was ok, I saw the moon rising and when the air-plane started to land, Lisbon was full of city lights and I remembered how I love Lisbon!!
I grew up with the old music style, like Guns And Roses (the old team), Metallica, Nirvana along with others bands like Jimmy Eat World. I always like punk, rock-punk, industrial rock and I find amazing when bands still together making music, true to their style.
