On the other day I was having a conversation with a friend about relationship and ended up talking about two of my relationship and how they destroyed me!
But when I say, they destroyed me, its because they really destroyed me completely... They destroy my ability to trust other guys, my ability to trust men became zero. Nowadays I always doubt every single word of men...
And why?

Well simple... The fact a person discover her boyfriend betrayed her with another girl have this effect!
The fact some one discover - on her birthday - the significant one have another girlfriend have that effect and for life!

And why I'm talking about that? Because afterward that conversation I realized how I just started to build walls around me, how I always push people away even when I like somebody. I realized my first reaction is always being severe, even when I just want to hold on to that person and never let him go. But no... I'm harsh! Afterwards I regret my reaction and never know how to reverse it.

Fun thing, since that day, the music "Wrecking Ball" is playing in my head! Actually, two music sang by James Arthur have been playing in my head ever since...
So, today's Fourth Music, is very a personal post...

And enjoy the rest of your day!

After a long period of addiction FKA Twigs, I turned to Banks. Both styles are very similar with little diferences.

Banks is more melodious and less calculating in the letters and in the way of expressing, besides having less pretension of shocking than FKA Twigs. As always I don't concern a lot the nationality or his/her background but I'm more concern about musicality, but all the ones that follow me already knows this :)

Banks is all about human relationships, intimacy, sexuality and even depression. She admited she had a very 'dark' period in her life. All this is visible in her music.

In my opinion, her lyrics are wonderful, specially "Weaker Girl", every time I hear it I think "Why I didn't wrote this?" On top of everything the music has violin, could be more perfect!

I love the way Banks express herself verbally and visually. She is so sexy but she also looks so fragile and so secure of herself, just look at her in "Beggin For Thread".

Attention, some music are explicit!
These are my 4 favorites.

Everything is better with 2 drummers! Yes this music is pure genius... Listening for 2 days in a row and can't get enough.

I always feel marvelous whenever I hear Agnes Obel... It's not a secret I have two passions in music: piano and violin! And Agnes use both regular.

Her voice is very melodic, crystal clear and her tone is always very melancholic with crescent feeling.
I admit her music videos, influence the way I feel when I hear her music.
I'm very visual and visually her videos are perfect to the music itself.
I love, specially, the song "The curse".

Shall we listen?

And enjoy the rest of your day!

Sine I discovered Söll I've been under 'electronic spell' and obviously I searched for new musicians and found out about Crywolf.
Crywolf is a producer multi-instrumental musician which is starting to get serious attention from the public and has a few singles and an album edited.
His music is electronic with a mist of melancholic, futuristic and intimated sense.
In my opinion, Crywolf worth to pay a visit and stay tuned to his youtube channel for new musics.

And enjoy the rest of your day!

I just realized I never posted anything about Rihanna... How is this possible?
Personally I have distinct feelings about her... I envy her confidence to be what she wants to be but at the same time I don't feel comfortable the way she expose so much herself, posting pics of her smoking etc... Maybe its just me being conservative?
Musically I like most of her songs, specially the 'dancable' ones!

And enjoy the rest of your day!

Long time no see hum?
I've been away from this type of posts, because I've been on holidays, but now I'm back to my normal routine, so music is back to my life.
I think is well-known I like all kinds of music, and lately I've been more to the electronic/dance, experimental side...
That is how I discovered Lorn, searching new music...
Lorn is a electronic musician that started to gain attention a few years back - around 2010 - but lately has some spotlight on him. Has made some sound tracks for games and have a few albums edited.
Since I discovered him, I've been listen to his albums on youtube and love it!
By the way, don't just listen to his music but check out the videos, are so cool!

And enjoy the rest of your day!

I simply like music that makes me feel off side myself, with piano, acoustic guitar and a good drummer. No matter the style :)

Hozier has a great warm voice, clear and his songs are - most of them - divine! However I'm not a big fan of "Take to the Church", but I know his album has so much better composed music than that one.

Hozier's band are so talented and give him such a musical support.
I already regret the fact I skipped his concert when he came to Portugal :)

And have a good day!

Radiohead are back after a long period without launching an album.
How I have missed this notes, this happy sadness...
To listen once and again, specially "Burn the Witch"!

By the way, whom here are fan of Radiohead and noticed the brilliant marketing move days before their album been released? :D
You can buy the album, here: www.radiohead.com

The band will came to Portugal to Nos Alive on July 8th and I got one ticket!
Enjoy your day!

I truly love her voice and I so sorry she just sings meaningless pop songs!
Ariana Grande with this voice she could be or sing anything, but ANYTHING! Specially jazz...

And a great bonus.... The girl making impressions of other great artists!

And enjoy the rest of your day!

There is something about guitar sound that makes me feel, what I call 'Brain Massages'.
I can listen to almost every type of music, whoever rock still my favorite music style.
Today I post a few songs of Melissa.

You probably know her from Hole. She is an excellent guitar player, although her voice is a bit weak specially live.
But I really like her music.
If you don't know her, here it is 4 songs from Melissa for you.

And enjoy the rest of your day!
