Well, 2015 is almost in the end! Another year gone by so fast that I think I only lived a couple of months of it but a full year as gone.
2016 is just around the corner and with it, new experiences, new adventures and hopefully, new trips and commitments.

On this new year, I hope to bring you some new changes in my blog.

Those who knows me well, know I love to learn new stuff! I love to meet new people, places, etc. Love!

And I also like to learn to DO new things. Recently I discover, via 'A Luz Ideal' facebook, something super cool and I want to do it soon as possible. I discover "A Avó veio Trabalhar" (translation, The Grandmother went to Work). And who are they?

The Grandmother went to Work is s group of grannies who love to embroider and sew an they also like to share their knowledge who wants to learn with them.
I think is fascinating they want to share their knowledge and keep the contact with young generations.
I totally hope, when the time came I may have this kind of spirit instead of staying in my house watching nonsense tv shows.

I will be alert to find out when will be the next workshop.

As you all may know, I'm a designer and is not just me but all designers from time to time have to deal with very specif situation...

Well recently I had this logo from one of the clients that had several types of yellows and they told me:

"Ana, chose the most pretty yellow"

And said this, goodbye and have a nice day!

I just love everything that is traditional and portuguese. I'm very nationalist about portuguese products and I'm very proud about being portuguese.
So, today I'm very proud to post about 'À Capucha'.
Since the old times, capuchas were used to protected rural workers.
Now capucha is back and took a revamp!
A Capucha reinvente this garment with such detail and precision.
I love the fact is handmade, ok that make the piece a bit pricey but it worth!
Is made of burel, 100% felted wool and is waterproof.

I'm a huge fan of NIN, since the first time I heard it at one of my college house over 10 years ago. She didn't liked it so much but I saw the art work of the album and asked her to hear it and all made sense. It was like the destiny wanted me to hear it. Since then I'm a fan... :)
Well, now Mr Trent, vocal leader and mentor of the band, started the collaboration with plastic artist Russell Mills to create this visual and auditive product. I will not say album, because is so much more than that: CD, book and original pieces of Russell.
The final price is a bit too high for me, but I really like to get one copy for myself of the limited edition. There is only 320 units.
Even if you are not a fan of NIN, check this video and hear Russell Mills talking about the creative process. Its wonderful!

I really don't understand why people need to lower others to feel themselves better... Is such a pity attitude!
Really piss me off!!

Those people should be happier if they look into their success without comparing themselves with others!
But no... Ignorant people are every where, and these people like to lower others... Please!

I admit I have this unconditional love for black! I admit!!
I also admit 90% of my winter clothing is black. Well during the summer I use other colors however winter requires dark clothes, like black, gray, blue or red. This is what I wear most.

Well, some time ago, during one of my trips I discovered Sarah Pacini, at one of the airports. And I just love it! So much, except the prices... Oh my god! The fabrics, the shapes, the layers, everything is my style.

Every year, Pirelli has a calendar! Every year, that calendar was full of beautiful, sexy  and unreal women.

Christmas has officially arrived at my home sweet home.
I have displayed, some of the Christmas ornaments, like Christmas tree, ribbons and a beautiful door wreath that I bought from Handmade2help.



Because I have a giant ginger cat, that like to eat everything, specially anything made with plastic, I can not have a normal tree like everybody else, so my tree is a tiny Xmas tree.
The good side of this, is it can be lighted up.

Bia died one week ago. I miss her a lot, her energy... She was always on the move, walking around me, asking for attention and now she is gone, I miss her and all that excitement. Bia stood at my house for almost 5 months and I miss her.

The one that is not missing Bia is Gotinha de Água!
Gotinha didn't like Bia a bit and she felt hard Bia's presence at my house. So much that all the itch and scarfs on her face returned after several months.
Now, Gotinha seams to be recovering. She is sleeping in my bed once again, goes to the kitchen, etc... I just hope that some good may came from Bia's death

The last couple of days, had been really hard days...
Started with a little  water infiltration in my house, when I thought that was a past situation turns out it was not! Than my grandmother died... we were all aware this will occur soon because she was at the hospital for almost 2 weeks and her situation was critical, however it was not easy to received this new.

It was really hard to go to the funeral and memorial service, watching the coffin being taken to the crematory... it was hard!

Meanwhile, we decided that the time to end Bia's suffering had arrived.
For those who followed Bia's illness, knew she was at my house since July, and had been in treatment for almost 2 years, without success. The skin infection got worst and the bacteria became multi-resistant to all known medication and therefore for security reasons, Bia's suffering ended last monday, by vets recommendation.
Bia was dripping blood and liquid from her face and ears, had serious pain, refused to eat or move... It was for the best but was really hard on my!

Now I became sick myself... really hope this pass on fast! Hate being sick!
I admit I'm always thinking 'if Bia's bacteria is on my now?' because if so, I'm fuc***! Literally.
The last week of Bia's treatment I was very nervous about touching her without gloves and tried to keep my animals away from her...
So you can imagine the psychological pressure I had this past weeks...

So two days ago I stood at home to recover, to cry out my eyes, clean mu house... my house looked like a slaughterhouse full of drops of Bia's blood in the floor, walls, etc.
Cleaning my house was like cleaning my soul.

Hope you guys had better days, than I had!

Ps. - I love this last one with this belt... Its a shame the belt is not on sale :(

Today is Friday 13th... I always loved this days, however this year and today I'm not enjoying a bit! Why? I barely woke up when I walked to my kitchen and felt my feet wet!
And I thought "why my feet are wet?" Well, I have an infiltration on the ceiling my kitchen from one water-pipe of my neighbor.
You can imagine my morning stress... take care of dogs, leaving them at my mother's place and ran back to my house to discover where the hell the water came from!
My major worry was the fact the water is dropping on top of my oven and I don't want to get in trouble with my neighbor because of that... But I will make him pay if anything mine get damaged.


I never lived in a building with other people around me, always lived in a single house, no neighbors in the same building and this seams so strange, having my life depending of others. If this was on my house, I already had this fixed in that same hour... I hate having pending issues!
But no, this is not on me and I need to wait until my neighbor resolve it so my life get back to what it was...

Yesterday Easyjet celebrated 20 years! 20 years folks :)
Easyjet Portugal decorated one airplane with pictures from costumers, launched a new uniform and sent a custom email reporting the timeline of each costumer related with the company.

My timeline with Easyjet begun at 2010, I have been in 4 countries, traveled 6 times which was 22560 km made!

I admit that seeing my story with Easyjet gave me butterflies in my 'belly' so much that I gave up to temptation and bought tickets.
Ah! In a few months here I go....

I have been wanting to talk about Purity Ring, for some time.
I really like this electronic pop they explore. The girls voice is so soft and a bit childish, making the songs angelical, in opposite to the lyrics.

Bershka has an amazing collection of trousers, super cute, motard style and the price is very acceptable!
I also loved some of the jackets, with fringes other with imitation of leather on the sleeves, which are my new obsession this year.

Last monday I decided to take some time off.
I need - urgently - time for myself, so I decided to have a break from Bianca Charity at least for one all week.
For those who doesn't know I have been a volunteer at Bianca for quite some time (years... 6 years) and I have been working at the shelter every sunday for the past 5 years which means I have been working 6 days a week for the past 5 years.
Since last august I had a... lets call this, disconnection with one of the volunteers. And some of the stuff she told me really piss me off, so much that every time I mention this argument I just want to break things... specially her face!

So I have decided to slow it down...
After 5 years on the rush, all day, you can imagine how slowing down can be tremendously difficult. My mind is so used to work and thinking about everything and having ideas that now, I can not stop... And I'm forcing myself to stop.

I'm not sure if I will go back working at the shelter... I need some time to think!

Years & Years are the new sensation musical band, on Portuguese radios, at this moment. And I'm so glad they are, because I really like them and love the voice of the lead singer.

Well, I love popcorn. To be honest I love to eat, in general!
On saturday, which are the days that I have to relax, i like to watch movies and eat popcorn.
I always made popcorn in the stove, on a pan with a little spoon of oil. The result was: burned pan, every time!

Well, Pingo Doce was this little recipient to make popcorn on the microwave, for only 3 euros. I hate to spent money on stupid gadgets, however I decided to give it a try and spare my pans.
And I liked the result!
It doesn't need oil, with 2 spoons of corn, just put it in the microwave for 2 minutes and voilá!
I was so happy that I had to share with you, hihi!
