Today I woke up with this in my head...

You have no idea the amount of people that tells me I should be doing tattoos, why I make them, who do I will look like when I will be old... So tiring!
Seams like if I do what them want, they will be happy and doesn't really matter if I will be sad. Apparently that is totally secondary...

If there is something I like is risotto and mushrooms.
Risotto recipe is pretty easy to do, however the first time I thought about making risotto I had the idea that was really complicated, but if simple, you just need some time and patient!
You will need:
- 150gr risotto rice;
- 1 bag of dry divers mushrooms;
- 1/2 chopped onion and some garlic;
- pepper q.b.;
- white wine.
As I used dry mushrooms, you will need to start to leave them in water of at least 30 minutes. In the end of that time, don't throw away that water, you will use it to cook the risotto.
While the mushroom are underwater, put the onion, garlic, pepper and some olive oil in a pan. Let it cook for a couple of minutes. Than add the mushrooms, but don't dry them to much.
The mushrooms need to cook very well. Dry mushrooms need some extra time comparing to other mushrooms.
Add the rice and mix all together, let is cook for a couple of minutes. Than add 2 cups of water (mushrooms water) and let it dry. When the rice is almost dry, add some white wine and once again let it dry.
You will need to repeat this last step - adding water and wine, letting dry - for more 3 times. And its done.
In the plate, add some parmesan cheese and voilá!

Since I stopped eating pork, mostly of my diet had changed.
I have to take care of the type of chouriço or sausages I eat because most of them are made with pork or with some part of pork.
But luckily there is chouriço so good an totally made with soja and other veggie stuff.
So for today the recipe is Pea stew with chicken sausages and vegetarian chouriço.
You will need:
- Half of a onion;
- 3 garlic pieces;
- 2 big chicken sausages;
- half of veg chouriço;
- 250gr of peas;
- olive oil;
- pepper.
Start to cut the garlic and onion and lay it in a pan with the olive oil and pepper. Let it gain some colour than mix the sausages and chouriço all cut in slices.
After 2 minutes mix the peas and cover everything with water. Let it cook for 15 minutes.

Since I was a child, I have this bad habit, bitting my nails and fingers.

I would like to have beautiful and polish hands and nails, but the mental part is fuc***! So this year, I've decided to seriously try to stop this habit. I want to be a better person, be stronger than I'm and for that I need to accomplish my goals, and stop bitting my nails is one of them.Painted nails
True to be told, whenever I paint my nails, I tend to bit less my nails! So what I will start to do is paint them often, manicure more and use much more hand-creme so I don't have harsh and dry hand to bother me. |

For quite a while I have been noticing this events in my life, every time I tell to certain people that I will travel soon, something bad happens to me or someone very close to me.
This idea had been bugging me for quite some time, specially since I went to Milan/Athens, because was when my sister's house burned down and my dog and her dog almost died.
meanwhile, I went to Denmark and Holland and you guys can guess what happened? In one occasion my cat got really sick and on the other occasion my sister's car broke. When I travelled to Bruxelles, my sister's car broke again.
This action/reaction is happening for more than a year... Now I told someone I'm about to visit Luxembourg and on the very next day I had a strange situation in my house. After I took bath and walked my dogs, I noticed a strange burning smell in the kitchen. I literally panic and call a technician. Apparently it was nothing strange but I really got scared.
The general feeling I got from this, is I should share less of my private life, including here. Which makes sense and probably will make me rethink about what I post here and how I post it.
I don't want to have another situation like this in my life and I feel frustrated about all this... an I hate the fact I have no control on my life, so I need to take the control, so I will exposed myself less, from now on!

Yesterday I read a post about living a life with no waste and all points pointed made sense. Plus! All that points I already live by it, for a long time.
You all may know I hate spend money. Money is hard to get and I don't like to waste something I worked hard to get.
On a daily basis, I'm very restricted girl about where and when I spend my money with, so I plan very well my shopping list of the month;
think if that piece of clothing will be used more than twice or will last more than a year; pass on the shopping bags... With all this, I-m saving my own money and spare the environment and nature which to be honest must be tired of mankind fill it with trash.
Just take a lot of trash can everywhere! Every day tons of trash goes to the trash, trash that could be reused. I find impressive the quantity of trash and I want to be a part of the solution, not a part of the problem.
You can call me cheap, yes you can... I really don't mind and I even have a bit of proud about that. I know I follow my ideals, even they seam hard.
But saving money is not always simple...
- save money to futures low periods in my life;
- travel more and meet new places;
- make more tattoos;
- be happier with the small things in life.
Whenever I go down my priorities, I can:
- realize what I really need;
- reduce not needy things in my life;
- live more with less.
Where do I save some money, on my daily routine:
- eating less out;
- having a budget on my daily meals;
- trying not to go shopping when I'm hungry;
- buying second hand stuff and/or locally.
These are my essential points, but they are adjusted to my priorities. You can and should make a list of your priorities and get your essential points.
The first period may seam hard to stick with it, so a good idea to not give up is, design a plan. Plan something you always want it, like a trip to Barcelona, for example. So everything you go shopping, think if you really need that clothe or product X, if not just save that money to put on your trip jar.

Changing can be hard
Making this life changing can be hard, I truly understand. however the long term satisfaction is bigger than the 'immediate frustration of not buying a not useful thing'. With time you will learn to control the anxiety of purchase. Nowadays, I keep thinking how society makes you want to buy stuff, stuff you don't really need, but TV is full of ads and we're programmed to want to be a part of a social group. There is a place in Sesimbra that I keep returning once in a while. That place is Sesimbra's Castle!
Every time I go there is like the first time, I read all the boards, imagine the people living there, etc. And my dogs like to go there too.
From the top of the Castle you can see Sesimbra, the bay and every little places around it. Its magnificent!!
This time I had a bonus on my visit to the castle.
When I was returning to my car, I heard from inside of the chapel some music. So I decided to leave the dogs in my car (I know it was safe, the weather was bad).
I entered the chapel and there was a concert of sacred music "Stabat Mater", by singer LuÃsa Brandão and LuÃsa Tavares with João Lucena e Vale playing piano. It was magical! I'm so sorry the event was not promoted more. I didn't even know about that concert.
Fun fact, facebook remind me I took this pictures 6 years ago, on the same place, with my old camera with old films.
